About Me –

I was born in sunny Southern California, but my story took a detour early on when my family moved to the Philippines. The vibrant culture and tight-knit communities of my childhood left an indelible mark on me. When we returned to the U.S., I faced a new challenge: acclimating to the social norms of American life. I often felt like an outsider, caught between two worlds, but this struggle became the catalyst for something extraordinary.

Design became my way to communicate, to express myself when words felt insufficient. It was a language that transcended cultural barriers, allowing me to connect, share, and create. Growing up in California, I was surrounded by the ever-present pulse of fashion, art, and music. These influences fueled my desire to design not just objects, but experiences—things that evoke emotion and resonate deeply with people.

With this passion driving me, I earned a degree in Graphic Design, where I laid the foundation for my creative journey. But my curious nature and desire to help people use and understand technology naturally led me to product design. I embraced the unknown, unafraid of being the “black sheep” or taking risks that others might avoid. I learned to adapt, innovate, and push boundaries—traits that have shaped me into a designer who thrives on curiosity, iteration, and refinement.

Over the years, I’ve cultivated a strong work ethic and a passion for designing solutions that make a difference, no matter the industry or product. I’ve helped create intuitive, scalable tools for athletes, schools, and brands. I’ve collaborated with cross-functional teams to bring meaningful designs to life—designs that simplify complexity, empower users, and drive impact. For me, every project is a chance to challenge myself, grow, and craft something truly meaningful.

But my journey doesn’t end with my career. I’m also a proud parent to two daughters who inspire me daily. I want them to see the value of hard work, creativity, and resilience. In a world increasingly shaped by technology, I want to ensure they not only understand how things work but can look at the world and know that their mom played a role in shaping it.

For me, design isn’t just a career—it’s a purpose. It’s about creating something that resonates, inspires, and makes an impact. I’m driven by a simple goal: to leave things better than I found them. Whether it’s crafting a user-friendly interface, refining a design system, or imagining the next big idea, I bring my full self to the creative process.

I’m ready to continue this journey, to contribute to projects that matter, and to create designs that inspire and connect.
